Trinity-Byrnes' academic program is characterized by the breadth of our course offerings, and our expectation that students will take advantage of all the resources available to them. We have experienced, enthusiastic and caring faculty who work hard to ensure all students achieve to their potential.
All TBCS students meet regularly as an advisory group. For consistency and in order to help build positive relationships, the group and teacher remain the same for several years. Students and advisors set personal and academic goals, check on progress and plan for upcoming academic and social events.
TBCS is proud of our college acceptance record, and students and parents have access to our experienced college advisor. Learn more about our College Counseling program here.
In 2013 Trinity-Byrnes was the first school in the Pee Dee to implement a 1:1 mobile device program. We continue to embed the use of digital learning technology in both our Middle and High School:
- Google for Education
- Google Classroom
The majority of our courses offer access to a digital textbook (iBook, eText, etc) as well as the traditional hard copy texts. We encourage students to use what works best for them, with many keeping a hard copy at home and digital for use at school. Digital-only can significantly reduce the annual cost of textbook purchases.
We are one of very few schools in the state to offer students, faculty and families access to JSTOR, a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources used in schools and colleges across the world. Contact us if you’d like to know more.
