What Will Our Seniors Do Next?

Check out what some of our seniors are doing after graduation.

Kalina Hernandez will be attending College of Charleston this Fall majoring in Physical Therapy, Business, and Anatomy. “I like the college and the town. There is a great hospital nearby that I could intern at.” Kalina’s future goal is to become a Physical Therapist.

Morgan Peshoff will be attending College of Charleston this Fall majoring in Political Science. “I love the history the city has to offer.” Morgan’s future goal is to become a lawyer, and live out the rest of her days on her farm.

Turner Arnold will be attending Anderson University this Fall majoring in Nursing. “Anderson was the only school that I really fell in love with. I toured other schools, but they didn't feel like home. Anderson was home.” Turner’s future goals are to receive her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, obtain a 4.0 GPA throughout college, and to end up working in the operating room.

Kris Chapman will be attending Old Dominion University this Fall majoring in Criminal Justice. “I chose Old Dominion because they have had strong recruitment since my junior year, plus I love the city of Norfolk.” Kris’ future goal is by senior year to expect to declare for the NFL draft, but if not, then he plans to start his life in Virginia and be a part of the law enforcement.

Spencer Evans will be attending Coastal Carolina University this Fall majoring in Sports Science. “They have one of the better programs for sports science, it's close to the beach, the campus is really nice, and it's only about an hour away from my house.” Spencer’s future goals include plans to attend graduate school at USC after he gets his bachelors. Then he will try to land a job at McLeod as an Athletic Trainer and then possibly in the future be a college or professional teams Athletic Trainer.

Sydney Hill will be taking a gap year, then going to Davidson. Her major is undecided at this time. “The school's personality fits mine. They also have a good liberal arts program.” Sydney’s future goals include scoring a movie, becoming fluent in Korean, and publishing a book of poetry.

Scott Sasser will be attending The Citadel this Fall majoring in Business. “Citadel Alumni take care of Citadel Alumni.” Scott’s future goal is to pursue a career in some sort of Agriculture.

Thomas Rogers will be attending The Citadel this Fall majoring in Criminal Justice. “I feel like being a Citadel graduate will help you out with how good of a job you get and will help create good habits that will improve you as a person. My dad went there as well, so I wanted to follow in his footsteps.” Thomas’ future goals include hopes to study abroad during college, being in the top 20 percent of his class academically, and completing some sort of graduate school.

Qiqi Zhuang will be attending University of San Francisco this Fall majoring in Undeclared Art. “I love San Francisco!!!” Qiqi’s future goal is to become a film producer/photographer.

Connor Francis will be attending Tulane University this Fall majoring in Biology. “I loved the location, received a good scholarship, and Tulane has a really good program if you're pre-med.” Connor’s future goal is to go on to med school after college, and then eventually would like to be an orthopedic surgeon.

MarcAnthony Ruiz will be attending Coastal Carolina University this Fall majoring in Business Management. “It felt like home when I went and toured.” MarcAnthony’s future goal is to be as successful as his parents are.

Bailey Goodson will be attending Clemson University this Fall majoring in Biology. “I have always wanted to go to Clemson.” Bailey’s future goal is to always try her hardest at anything she does.

Anna Price will be attending Clemson University this Fall majoring in Animal and Veterinary Science. “My parents attended Clemson and I am a big Clemson fan.” Anna’s future goal is to intern at the Greenville zoo the next few summers while she is at Clemson, get into a good vet school, and become a zoo veterinarian.

Les Smith will be attending Presbyterian College this Fall majoring in Environmental Studies. “I like the small college town as well as the small class sizes.” Les’ future goals consist of graduating from PC and getting his Masters in Forestry. He would love to be able to have a job set up right out of college and be able to be content and happy with everything.

Alex Goodson will be attending Clemson University this Fall majoring in Business. “Clemson is in state, and I've always wanted to go there.” Alex’s future goal is to keep a 3.0 GPA and not lose the LIFE scholarship.

Elizabeth Roach will be attending Clemson University this Fall majoring in Pre-Business and specializing in Marketing. “Clemson is my home away from home. It has the perfect balance of academics and extra-curricular activities and opportunities. It is the perfect size and everything I could ever hope for in a college campus.” Elizabeth’s future goal is to excel at Clemson as a business major and to take advantage of every opportunity given to her through full involvement in the school and internships in marketing around the world. She also plans to study abroad and graduate with a BS in business.

Marcus Crawford will be attending Catawba College this Fall majoring in Business Administration. “I chose Catawba because of their strong School of Business, and the opportunity I had to play college basketball.” Marcus’ goal for the future is simple success, in whatever form or area it may come in. He hopes to begin his own physical therapy facility once he graduates, after working in the field a few years.

Hannah Farrell will be attending Clemson University this Fall majoring in Elementary Education. “I chose Clemson because it’s well known for its great and challenging academics, but also has many extracurricular activities that I can get involved in.” Hannah’s future goal is to study abroad if possible and get involved in greek life. Later on, she wants to become a speech pathologist so she can work with kids who have disabilities either as her own practice or in a school setting.

Rachel Stevens will be attending Winthrop University this Fall majoring in Business and Marketing. “The campus had a welcoming environment. I enjoyed the feeling of a medium size school where I can grow while being surrounded with familiar faces.” Rachel’s future goals consist of a possible career in either criminology or psychology and working with troubled youth.

Abigail Jackson will be attending Furman University this Fall double majoring in Communications and Spanish. “I love the beautiful campus and small community.” Abigail’s future goal is to study abroad in Spain.

Wright Sullivan will be attending The Citadel this Fall majoring in Business. “I believe The Citadel will mold me into the best man I can be.” Wright’s future goal is to manage a successful business or become a lawyer.

Michael Rials will be attending Francis Marion University this Fall majoring in Finance. “I chose FMU because of the D1 Golf Scholarship I was offered.” Michael’s future goal is to have a 3.5 or better GPA in college. He would like to win a collegiate golf tournament and be a freshmen all-American at Francis Marion.

Michael Hellen will be attending DePaul University this Fall majoring in Economics or Political Science. “Its northern location in a large city was attractive, as was the fact I got into the honors program there. Also, I was awarded tuition exchange there so I will only have to pay room and board.” His future goal consists of something in Business that hopefully involves the sale of art.

Yosathorn Niamsaing will be attending Syracuse University this Fall majoring in International Relations. “It's one of the best colleges for my major. Its location is also ideal.” Yosathorn’s future goal is to become the ambassador of Thailand to the U.S.
