Congratulations to Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School senior, Marcus Crawford, who signed a National Letter of Intent on April 12th to play basketball at Catawba College.

Crawford wasnamed to region tournament first-team, second team all-region, north-south team, and SCISA Class AA All-State team (by High School Sports Report). This year he averaged 12ppg, 6apg (assist per game), and 3spg.

I transferred to Trinity-Byrnes the beginning of my eleventh grade year, and it has prepared me for college academically with a strong course load. My time on the court at Trinity-Byrnes and with Coach C has molded me into a strong leader, and made me a better player physically and mentally. ”

Crawford plans to study Business at Catawba College this fall.

I chose Catawba over other schools because of the coaching staff and academic opportunities. The coaching staff at Catawba push to make you better on the court through hard work, but they also help prepare you for life after basketball in the real world. Academically, the school offers a variety of opportunities for business majors; that prepare them be successful in the business world.”

Crawford currently has a 4.53 GPA.
