Gail Weller – Upper School English Teacher

Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher

Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate is seeking a full-time teacher of Spanish for our expanding Middle and Upper School world languages program.

The successful candidate will be able to teach Spanish levels 1-3 (and preferably Level 4/5) to students in Grades 7-12. S/he will be enthusiastic about the Spanish language and Hispanic culture, and will inspire and cultivate a global perspective in our students.

Experience living and working abroad is a distinct advantage, but not a requirement.

An undergraduate degree in Spanish, or significant experience living/working in a Spanish-speaking country is required. Graduate level study in Spanish or Education is preferred, as is experience working with or teaching middle/high school students.

Start date: August 2015

 Upper School Math Teacher

Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate is seeking experienced, well-qualified, and dynamic applicants for an upper level Math position to begin in August 2015.

The successful candidate will be able to teach all levels of high school mathematics, but specifically Pre-calculus, Calculus, and Statistics – including at AP level.

A willingness to coach our Upper School math team would be an advantage.

Qualifications

An undergraduate degree in mathematics is required. Graduate level study in math or Education is preferred, as is experience working with or teaching high school students.

Experience integrating technology into the curriculum is strongly preferred, as is a proven willingness to experiment with different teaching strategies.

Start date: August 2015
