Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher

Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate is seeking a teacher of Spanish for our expanding Middle and Upper School world languages program.

The successful candidate will be able to teach Spanish levels 1-3 (and preferably Level 4/5) to students in Grades 7-12. S/he will be enthusiastic about the Spanish language and Hispanic culture, and will inspire and cultivate a global perspective in our students.

Experience living and working abroad is a distinct advantage, but not a requirement, as is comfort using educational technology.


An undergraduate degree in Spanish, or significant experience living/working in a Spanish-speaking country is required. Graduate level study in Spanish or Education is preferred, as well as experience working with or teaching middle/high school students.

Digital Media Instructor & Mobile Device Support

Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate is looking for an educator with experience in network/device management, as well as the ability to teach a digital media based course. Web and social media management experience would be an additional advantage.
We are looking for someone with good organizational skills, a love for learning and teaching, and with experience working with both young people and adults in an educational setting.
Mobile Device Support
Knowledge of network and mobile device management.
Broad knowledge of application software, operating systems, and server technologies.
Apple product (desktop & mobile) troubleshooting skills and ability to manage iPads and digital textbook licensing.
Demonstrated enthusiasm for use of instructional technology and working with adult learners.
Digital Media
Teach one or more sections of Digital Publishing and Design. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar; experience working with a range of digital media, and/or game or app design; basic coding skills.
Minimum of a BA in Computer Science, Instructional Technology or related field, and/or (Graphic) Design/Digital Media required. Master’s degree in any of these fields or in Education -or equivalent professional experience- preferred.
Web and social media management experience preferred.
Experience working with young people in an educational setting.
